Being a good alumnus..

Last month, i tried to be a good alumnus and attended some AIESEC activities.

1- TTS - Train the Sellers seminar
Basicly a one day conference where external relations people are trained on AIESEC knowledge, brand promise, presentation skills etc. Being the facilitator and pretending as a ''tough'' company manager reminded of my old days back in Turkey as an icx person.

Tugba

only pic i have-thanx to Marteen-

2- Global Village
One of the local committees here, AIESEC Ichec, organised a global village.. Having attended zillions of global villages, i felt more stressed at this one, as my LC, AIESEC Ehsal came with a suggestion of representing Turkey..

lynn and chris at turkish table

And we were successful representing my country by
1- being late :)
2- Turkish coffee (although we couldn't make any)
3- Turkish raki (finished in first 2 minutes)
4- Turkish delights
5- Nargile (aka shisha, waterpipe etc...)
6- Pismaniye (kind of cotton candy)
7- olives, fetta cheese
8- pide
9- Pistachio nuts, almonds etc. (cerez.. )
Unfortunately (or fortunately :)) most of them were not eaten as we were a bit late. Then we decided to make our own Turkish night and eat all ;)

gvpercussion

also a Brazilian percussion band performed (dont remember the name), the performance took longer around 20 mins. I heard that they were a Brazilian band living in Brussels more than 10 years. It was nice to feel the beat and dance again...
