Old Friends.. New Friends.. Amsterdam
last weekend was my 3rd time in Amsterdam..
First one was in '99, when i was at high school.. Our HASAL made a trip to amsterdam, the last place a high school student should go..
The memories that are left in my mind from those days: Koekie, Tim... falling from the stairs. breaking the arm.. renting a bike.. having the best night of my life with 3 special friends (they know who they are :) ) ..Apollosatraat.. leidseplein.. the night that guys escaped from the fire stairs having their 'first' experiences in Red Light.. (cok mu sey acikliyorum yahu?) :)
Haha.. it is already 7 yrs now and there's still the same thing with the air of this city.
Second time, I was there with Pinar, just a couple of hours in Amsterdam after getting bored in Rotterdam.. nothing much to do, just to chill out.. mostly in Dam.
this time, Kamila, my Polish and me .. visited historical & touristical places of the city of course :)
best thing was to catch up with Pen pen, the mother of my children. I had to leave her and our three kids (b,s,g) but as i saw, i havent missed anything in the last couple months. She is as sweet as when i left..
in fact that was the first time when i had the chance to tell what i've been hiding inside for last couple of months. and she could understand me well..very well.. like always. sometimes i am very much surprised by the fact that how much alike we are..
i know it is lameeee.. but what was not lame about amsterdam was.. we repeated the thing we always did while visiting a new city. but it might be very nice to disclosure it here.. it happened in canberra, and now it was amsterdam.. but unfortunately we couldnt find any straws to send it to the old team.
next time, next shop i hope :)
so that was it..
and this weekend it was Bike, next weekend it is going to be Bahar. i think it is happening to me as well : as they it sunscreen : `the older you get, the more you need the people who knew you when you were young.`
