Brussels.. with the Turks..
day by day, I am getting used to my life in rainy & cloudy & grumpy brussels.
I moved to my new place at rue de mot, near schuman. right between european commission & parliament buildings.. my new housemates are all interns as well, kamila from poland (dhl), leon from china (dhl), marianne & lise -2 norwegian chicks doing internships in Norwegian Embassy.
I will post their pictures very soon..
I also got in the Turkish community of course. As they say 'Turk'un Turk'ten baska dostu yok.' :) I found some Turks like usual. Bora & Onur.
Bora is a DHL trainee, I know him back from Aussieland.. He was a trainee in SA Water with Selin, i heard of him a lot before..
Onur is working in Electrolux, upstairs 'kapi komsusu'. He is an engineer -the smartest in the gang :)
I mostly hung out w these guys since I came here, being a real aiesec person, interacting with many many different cultures (!).. When we are together, all we do is drinking, eating kebap, eating pide, shopping at Gazi Migros,(gaziye kurban olurum bee) drinking again..of course where there is a turk, there should be a raki..
Below is our 'cilingir sofrasi' with our Turkish Raki, of course the music background is Ibo & Orhan Baba..

basssak : yes canim, evime tasindim ama buralar biraz kasvetli. ariyoruz aussielanddeki gunlerimizi ne yalan soyleyeyim. bruksel lahanasini arastirmadim, hatta gormedim desem.. avustralyaya gelip de kanguru gormedigim gibi bruksel lahanasi da gormedim hic, ama enterasandir hiyarlari cok kocaman bu memleketin.. :) operin,
Hiyarlar uzerine bir sey diyemeyecegim ama calan arsivi az cok tahmin ediyorum, ozcan deniz gecmiyor gunler, utaniyorum, ve de tabi ki ibodan haydi soyleeee:)Biz de az icmemeistik bu fondayken biliyon aussylanda!raki sofrasina Ibo'dan "Haydi Soyle"yi calip kulaklarimiz cinlattiniz di mi?:)
