Caddebostan..

Being the most famous beach in Australia, here is something missing at Bondi Beach.

Caddebostan is one of the very old beaches in Asian Part of Istanbul; it was't used for a very long time, this year it was cleaned and opened for public again. Now it is full of happy and merry guys like him and as far as I heard, the police can't find a way to stop middle aged men swimming with white underwears. Lovely!

Blue Mountains...

The legend about Three Sisters,

3 sisters

''The Aboriginal 'Dreamtime' Legend has it that there were once three beautiful sisters from The Katoomba People named 'Meehni', 'Wimlah' and 'Gunnedo. Although custom forbade a union with members from the Nepean People, such was their beauty that three brothers from the tribe fell in love with the sisters. As the brothers wished to marry the sisters they rebelled against this law and attempted to forcibly capture them. As this threatened a catastrophic tribal battle which could endanger the lives of the beautiful three sisters, a Witchdoctor decided to protect them by turning them into rock. Once the battle had subsided he would then return the sisters to their untouched human form. However, he was a casualty of the battle and the three sisters remain as the majestic rock formations to this very day. The spell remains in place and nobody now knows how to release the spell.''

We weren't sure to spend an entire day in Blue Mountains as Ozge had only 5 days in Sydney. We knew it would take 4 hrs to go and come back and we weren't really keen on seeing a 'fake beauty' every tourist was attracted to .

It took 2 hours to get there and lazy Ozge and I were about to miss the train as usual. Was Tuesday when we went, so there weren't many people around. That's why we felt like we were in a natural , beautiful landscape instead of a touristical or artificial ''beauty'' I guess.

katoomba waterfalls

The first place we went was Katoomba Falls, and there was more interesting things to see than the falls, you can also se if you take a look at the picture carefully ;)
We could spend only 4-5 hours in Blue Mountains and possibly could see the 1/5 of it. And even like this, we admired the place, the waterfalls, the view from Echo Point, three sisters etc etc..

And now, the Russian guy from my MC team, Sergey and I are planning to go and stay overnight in October.. Cant wait to spend a night in Blue Mountains..

Mighty Mighty Bondi...

It was 2 months later when I went to a beach since I first arrived in Sydney.. The famous Bondi.

bondi beach

Coming from Turkey, a country surrounded by 3 seas and full of beaches; it was my first time to see a beach right in the heart of the city.

When Ozge and I went there, it was about 7-8 C degress, but it didnt stop surfers to ''dance'' with the waves. I wish I could be one!!

It was soo cool..

When Ozge was here, we had soo much fun. It was the first time that I saw soo many places in Sydney. We made an Indian party at home and went to Blue Mountains, Aquarium, Bondi Beach and many other pubs and bars all around the city..
The stories are coming soon...
