Muriel's Wedding

One of the best things about Sydney is that you can find cool DVDs in the city libraries - and for free!!- The first DVD I decided to get from the library was "Muriel's Wedding", the first Aussie film I saw about 7 yrs ago. I ordered it about a month ago and the day I learnt it was reserved for me, I picked it up and watched..

It was last Friday and it was such a girly nite with Mei & watching Muriel's Wedding & dying my hair etc etc. I really liked this movie once more, and I realized that although it looks like a happy movie with Abba songs, fancy clothes etc; it is indeed a sad movie inside; Muriel's friends, her dad and her "marriage" .. Another cool thing was to see Gold Coast, Paddington-Oxford Street-, Surry Hills in the early 90s.. btw I saw so many common things with me and Muriel..Aman Allah'im..
